From a small business founded in Narellan NSW in 1974, NEPEAN Founder and Chairman David Fuller created an integrated network of manufacturing companies with a national footprint in Australia and overseas providing engineering, mining and capital equipment solutions.

1985

  • NEPEAN Conveyors business established

1987

  • Acquired sustainable agricultural implement manufacturer AGROWPLOW®

1990

  • NEPEAN Conveyors QLD started and Standens Equipment acquired

1992

  • Achieved ISO Accreditation 9001

1993

  • Created and established Vehicle Inspection Systems and Nepean Plastic Moulding

1995

  • Created NEPEAN Conveyors in Johannesburg South Africa

1998

  • Vehicle Inspection Systems (VIS) establishes its first North American office, commencing sales of the VIS-Check® range of products in the US market

1999

  • Bliss-Fox GSE acquired from Bliss Corp. NEPEAN became a shareholder in Inbye Mining Services

2000

  • Western Sydney Industry Awards “Exporter of the Year” NEPEAN Mining Pty Ltd now NEPEAN Conveyors Pty Ltd

2001

  • Established NEPEAN Meco Conveyors. Peter Buckley wins “Apprentice of the Year”

2002

  • Western Sydney Industry Awards “Exporter of the year” to Vehicle Inspection Systems
  • Bliss-Fox introduces the new tractor model F1-80 for B737 and A320 operations

2003

  • Acquired controlling interest in MI Power & Electronics. David Fuller made Rotary International “Paul Harris Fellow”
  • Commenced manufacturing NEPEAN NightOwl® portable lighting towers
  • VIS establishes Canadian office to service growing demand of the VIS Check range of products into the Canadian market

2005

  • Brent Butler wins “Apprentice of the Year”
  • VIS Polish launches the world’s first fully automated and patented aluminium robotic wheel polishing system 2006

2006

  • NEPEAN Inducted into Macarthur Business “Hall of Fame”
  • NEPEAN acquired controlling interest in boutique PNG merchant bank Pacific Capital

2007

  • The Bliss-Fox F1-500 tractor is used for the first commercial push-back of an A380 aircraft in Sydney for Singapore Airlines
  • Metal manufacturing business Graham Group was bought and Inbye Mining Services was acquired
  • NEPEAN acquired controlling interest in Niuminco Ltd, operators of the historic Edie Creek gold mine in PNG

2008

  • Inbye Mining Services acquired longwall electrical service provider Longwall Advantage
  • Nepean Site Services commences offering expert onsite labour and solutions for the mining industry

2009

  • Inbye wins $130m contract to supply Vale’s Carborough Downs longwall miner

2010

  • Commenced international partnership with Italy’s leading perforation & building products company - Gatti Precovi. NEPEAN Engineering wins structural steel contract for Westfield Sydney Centre Point Tower
  • NEPEAN NightOwl introduces its innovative ‘Balloon Light’, lighting tower
  • Bliss-Fox introduces new F1-150 four wheel drive tractor and the F1-400 to meet specific country technical requirements
  • Vehicle Inspection Systems (VIS) delivers the first Brake Testing system designed to test mining and construction vehicles to the US Department of Labour – Mine Safety and Health Administration
  • VIS becomes the leading supplier of brake testing equipment to North American enforcement agencies

2011

  • Reorganisation and rebranding of NEPEAN into 4 divisions. NEPEAN acquired controlling interest in Inbye Mining Services
  • NEPEAN acquires Mining Logic Solutions – “Real Time Risk Management System for Underground Coal Mines”

  •  Acquired Ingal Building Systems and integrated products and Staff with Galintel, part of the Building & Infrastructure division.

 2016

  •  Acquired Elton Conveyors Assets and Staff making NEPEAN Conveyors a major supplier servicing the Mining Industry.
