    Miles Fuller

    Chief Executive Officer & Executive Chairman

    Miles is the global CEO and Executive Chairman of NEPEAN. Miles has provided outstanding leadership over two decades; he joined NEPEAN in 1993, and has served as CEO since 2007. Miles personally founded a number of NEPEAN's businesses, and led the acquisition and subsequent turn-around of over half the present operating business.

    Miles is passionate about leadership and manufacturing. He has attended Harvard Business School on campus annually since 2013, and actively participates in numerous professional and industry groups.

  • Brad Whatson - Chief Financial Officer

    Chief Financial Officer

    Brad joined Nepean in January 2015. Brad has over 25 years’ senior leadership experience in start-up organisations through to global market leaders, focussed on pre-empting business risks and identifying solutions that protect organisations long term growth and profitability.

    Brad's leadership and extensive change experience covers managing multiple departments while engaged in business acquisitions and divestments, regional restructures, diligent financial analysis, implementing new business systems, complex financing structures, starting up new businesses and implementing governance strategies.

  • Andrew Honnibal - Chief Information Officer

    Chief Information Officer

    Andrew leads NEPEAN's global IT and HR shared service functions. Andrew's focus is on: Driving improved performance of people and greater profitability through smart tools, systems and processes; Connecting and integrating newly acquired businesses to NEPEAN's systems, processes, and NDNA; and, Leading an efficient, modern, secure and cost-effective IT environment.

    Andrew joined NEPEAN in 2011 as IT Support & Operations Manager, was promoted to Head of IT in 2012, and appointed CIO in 2018.

  • Paul Byrne - Managing Director | PROK

    Paul Byrne

    Managing Director | PROK

    Paul is a customer-focussed and entrepreneurial leader, responsible for NEPEAN's global conveyor components businesses. Paul is passionate about mining and conveyors, and is a technical expert on conveyor components.

    Paul's career is an example of the opportunity available to talented graduates through NEPEAN's graduate and Leadership Development programmes. Paul joined NEPEAN Conveyors as a graduate engineer in 2006, and worked in a variety of operations roles in the NEPEAN Conveyors idler business across design, drawings, quality and supply chain. Paul was then promoted to lead operations, before being promoted to General Manager of NEPEAN Conveyors' idler business.

    Paul was appointed Managing Director of PROK in 2018 following sustained career performance.

  • Suellen Osborne - Non-Executive Director

    Non-Executive Director

    Suellen is a Non-Executive Director serving on NEPEAN's Board. Suellen is also responsible for NEPEAN's property portfolio, and is the Founder and Managing Director of Timor Resources, NEPEAN’s demerged energy business. 

    Suellen is an experienced executive, company director and entrepreneur with a demonstrated track record of success in oil resources and property development.

    Tony joined the NEPEAN Group in 2019 as MD of NEPEAN Building and Infrastructure after a 20+ year career running industrial businesses around the world. 

    Prior to joining NEPEAN Tony had led an international engineering company as CEO for 8 years, focused on designing, fabricating, and installing building maintenance crane systems for super tall buildings in major cities throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. During this time, he restructured and grew the company substantially for its private equity owners. Before that Tony spent 4 years with OneSteel Australia leading their $2 billion downstream distribution businesses. Tony’s earlier career was spent in Europe, Asia and ANZ running regional FMCG packaging companies.

  • Rolf Van Rooyen - Managing Director | NEPEAN, GURTEC, ROXON

    Rolf Van Rooyen

    Managing Director | NEPEAN, GURTEC, ROXON

    Rolf Van Rooyen is Managing Director of a broad portfolio of NEPEAN’s businesses, including NEPEAN Conveyors, NEPEAN Longwall, NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation, and European businesses ROXON and GURTEC.

    Starting at NEPEAN as General Manager of NEPEAN Conveyors Idlers, he was promoted to the position of Managing Director for NEPEAN Conveyors in 2012. From 2013 Rolf led the management team of the Longwall, Conveyors and Power businesses as Managing Director of NEPEAN Mining. Rolf was appointed to his current position in 2018.

    Prior to joining NEPEAN, Rolf held senior executive positions with BAE Systems, IST Group, and Booz•Allen & Hamilton Inc.

    Chief FInancial Officer | NEPEAN Mining, NEPEAN Transport, PROK, GURTEC, ROXON

    Katie joined NEPEAN in 2011 as Financial Controller of NEPEAN Conveyors and was promoted to CFO NEPEAN Mining in 2012, she holds a Bachelor of Business, Chartered Accountant (CA) & Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

    Katie leads the global finance function for NEPEAN Mining, NEPEAN Transport, GURTEC, ROXON & PROK. Katie promotes continuous improvement while having a balance between driving cost reductions and running an efficient team with over 20 years’ experience in the Mining and project management sector.

  • Richard Eveleigh - Non-Executive Director | NEPEAN Longwall

    Richard is a graduate Mining Engineer who has been involved in the underground coal industry since 1973. Richard’s early career was in the operational side of longwall mining. In 1980 he joined the Dowty organisation and focussed on the development and supply of new longwall mining systems. In 1988 Richard was appointed Managing Director of Meco Australia Pty Ltd, later part of Joy Mining (Australia). In 1997, Richard together with two partners founded Inbye Mining Services Pty Ltd, an Australian based supplier of longwall mining equipment and related services. NEPEAN became the largest and controlling shareholder of Inbye in February 2011.

  • Geoff Sweeney - Managing Director | NEPEAN Power

    As the founding Managing Director, Geoff established M.I. Power in 1994. A qualified Electrical Engineer and licensed Electrical Contractor, Geoff has over 26 years’ experience in the mining and manufacturing industries. He is a member of the Institute of Engineers, MEMMES and is a Class A Certified Hazardous Area Designer.

  • Quintin Roberts - General Manager | NEPEAN Conveyors Qld

    Quintin Roberts

    General Manager | NEPEAN Conveyors Qld

    Quintin leads NEPEAN Conveyors Queensland. Quintin joined NEPEAN Conveyors as an Operations Manager in 2013, and was promoted to General Manager in 2015.

    Quintin's business delivers NEPEAN Conveyors solutions to the Queensland market, including Systems, Components, Equipment, Repair and Overhaul, and after-market services.

    Previous roles include General Manager DOWNER EDI ASX:DOW, Manufacturing Director Boartlongyear ASX:BLY as well as other senior positions in BMW South Africa. Quintin received a BSc H from the University of Hertfordshire and an MBA for the University of Potchefstroom.

  • Bill Munday - General Manager | NEPEAN Conveyors NSW

    Bill Munday

    General Manager | NEPEAN Conveyors NSW

    Bill Munday is General Manager of NEPEAN Conveyors NSW, and leads NEPEAN Conveyors’ delivery of Systems, Repairs and Overhauls, and after market services to customers throughout NSW.

    Bill is a NEPEAN success story. Bill joined NEPEAN Conveyors in 1987 as a Fitter Machinist. He worked his way up from there and has held roles including Workshop Leading Hand, Service Technician, Site Service Manager, and Sales Manager. Bill was appointed General Manager in 2006.

    Bill has delivered some of NEPEAN Conveyor’s most significant projects, and has led the development of an extraordinary amount of Intellectual Property for his customers. Most recently, Bill led the development of the NEPEAN Conveyors Relocatable Conveyor.

    Johan Dreyer

    General Manager | NEPEAN Conveyors Idlers

    Johan joined NEPEAN in June 2018 as head of structural steel at NEPEAN Engineering and Innovation and later moved to his current General Manager role within Nepean Conveyors.

    Johan is passionate about design, innovation and entrepreneurship and was a founding member of NEP Solar and Managing Director of New Energy Partners Pty Ltd. Johan has also held roles within Tier one construction companies and co-founded engineering consultancy firms.

  • Peter Buckley - General Manager | NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation

    Peter Buckley

    General Manager | NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation

    Peter Buckley, GAICD, commenced with NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation as an apprentice Fitter/Machinist in 1998. After serving his apprenticeship and gaining exposure and experience in mechanical, structural and civil engineering as a Project Manager, Peter represented NEPEAN Engineering and Australia at the International WorldSkills competition in St. Gallen Switzerland in 2003.

    Since then Peter's career continued to become an experienced executive leader and compant director who has operated across a wide range of sectors including Industrial and Engineering Services, private Health Insurance, Education, Aged Care and Manufacturing. His leadership roles have included General Manager of a large ASX listed eingineering and services company, and Head of Strategy and Innovation for a leading Not for Profit health insurer.

    Peter returned to NEPEAN Engineering and Innovation as General Manager in January 2020, thrilled to serve our customers and lead our skilled team of employees. 

    Peter holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with distinction from Sydney Business School, Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong, GAICD and Mechanical Engineering Trade qualifications.

    Predrag Petrovic

    Head of Engineering | NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation

    With over 46 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Predrag has been with NEPEAN since 1993, first as a Design Engineer, then as a Project Manager, successfully delivering projects for the worlds largest Defence, Aerospace, FMCG, Mining, Industrial, Building, Scientific & Technology companies & organisations.

    Spending 5 years in university, Predrag graduated in 1980 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in Croatia.

    He then went on to gain experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, gaining valuable knowledge with special purpose machines.

    Predrag has been a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia since 1991 as a Chartered Professional Engineer.

    Mohammad Elsakhawy

    Head of Structural Steel | NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation

    Mohammad joined NEPEAN Engineering and Innvoation in mid 2019, as part of the company’s vision to develop the structural steel department.

    Previously Mohammad has worked for a leading structural steel company in the Gulf region ‘’Kharafi Steel – Kuwait’’, and brings with him over 12 years’ of project management experience in structural steel commercial, industrial, mega and complex projects.

    Mohammad holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering which he obtained from Cairo University in 2005 and is a certified project management professional.

    Appointed CFO of NEPEAN Building and Infrastructure in 2011 and prior to this worked for NEPEAN in a Business Process Improvement Capacity.  Jason is a CA and has a BCom (UNSW). Prior to working for NEPEAN, Jason worked for a number of large organisations including Caltex and Deloitte. Roles performed included Divisional CFO, Head of Internal Audit and External Audit Manager.

  • Steve Nugent - General Manager | Weldlok West

    Appointed as WA Manager of the then Graham Group in October 1997, Steve has been involved in the Steel industry all his working life. Steve started his career with Tubemakers of Australia (now Onesteel) and managed branches in both the Pilbara and the South West regions of Western Australia. During this time he also coordinated the Metaland franchises for the state.

    In 1995 Steve headed to NSW where he became Manager of the Unanderra branch. Since joining the Company Steve has lead a very motivated and passionate team that has transformed as an integral part of NEPEAN.

  • Tyrone Scott - General Manager | Galintel

    Tyrone joined the NEPEAN group in early 2020 as the GM of our Galintel business unit after a 10+ year career in the construction division of ITW and holds a BBus (Mktg).

    Prior to joining NEPEAN Tyrone led Sales and Operations teams within ITW across ANZ and multiple business segments that serviced the Commercial, Residential and Retail markets of the construction industry. Before his time with ITW Tyrone spent 3 years in operational roles in support of customers such as Linfox, Proctor & Gamble, BAE Systems and the Department of Defence.

    In a life before entering the corporate world Tyrone spent 7+ years in the Australian Army where he honed and developed his leadership style and people management skills leading teams on operational deployments across the globe.

  • Tony Kippen - General Manager | Business Systems

    Tony has 20 years’ experience within engineering and heavy fabrication industries. Tony was previously the General Manager of NEPEAN's owned Zillmere Engineering, where he was responsible for the execution of design, delivery and manufacturing of many high profile projects. Tony relocated to Zhongshan in 2012 to direct NEPEAN Asia. In 2015, and after a successful assignment in Asia, Tony returned to Australia to lead a new initiative of managing the optimization of the business systems within the NEPEAN Building & Infrastructure division
